Hi everyone my name is Trish Gilroy I am one of the owners of Mission Fitness. I was born and raised in East Hanover, NJ and have been passionate about exercise since the age of 16 when I was introduced to Olympic Weightlifting and Crossfit for the first time. I fell in love with the determination and community that encompass those sports and have valued their presence in my life ever since. I attended Towson University where I graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Applied Adult Disability Studies. Shortly after I graduated I received my CF-L1 and have been coaching ever since. I am also certified as a Level 1 Weightlight Coach through USA Weightlifting and enjoy focusing on improving technique and lifting capabilities. Outside of the gym I enjoy hiking, traveling to new places, 70s Rock and Roll, and reading fantasy fiction novels. I love getting to know people and am so grateful that I get to witness people in this community improve upon their health through exercise every day.

I am Giovanny Torres one of the owners of  Mission Fitness. I am a dedicated and accomplished individual with a passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals. With an impressive background in both athletics and academics. As a four-time Ironman finisher, two spartan races, a 21k trail run and four Crossfit competitions.  I  have conquered some of the most grueling endurance challenges on the planet. My journey on completing these races is a testament to an unwavering determination, discipline, and commitment to push my  limits. Through countless hours of training, overcoming obstacles, and crossing finish lines. In addition to my athletic achievements, I  hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. My academic pursuits reflect my deep-seated passion for understanding the intricate relationship between food, exercise, and overall well-being. Armed with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in nutrition science. I am well-equipped to empower others to make informed dietary choices, optimize their performance, and lead healthier, happier lives.

Methodology

Cross Training Class Description
Cross Training classes will give you the chance to experience constantly varied workouts performed at a high intensity. You will learn functional exercises that improve overall health and muscular endurance. These classes help improve your ability to lift weights, expand upon your flexibility, and increase your cardiovascular endurance.

HIIT Class Description
During HIIT classes you will perform full body exercises that build cardiovascular fitness, promote fat loss, and increase muscular strength. Specific work and rest periods are given for all movements in the workout and modifications can be given based on individual ability levels. These classes are upbeat and allow you to have fun while improving your general health.

Open Gym Description
Open Gym is a great option for anyone looking to have access to the gym’s equipment and train on their own. With multiple platforms, barbells, olympic grade plates and more this is the perfect spot for weightlifters and those looking to follow their own exercise program.
